Proofreading that focuses on meaning, when the most important aspects are the content and the technical accuracy of the document. The proofreader is an expert in the given field and compares the translation with the source document so that the target text precisely matches the original as far as meaning, content, purpose, and terminology are concerned.

QA (Quality Assurance) is part and parcel of every translation, and is included in the price. We check the text by computer. This helps us find errors such as spelling mistakes, whether any part of the text has been missed (not been translated), whether terminology is not uniform throughout the text (one term translated in several ways), whether the set terminology has been ignored, deviations in the format of the document, etc.

A formal check of the text is also needed. In such case we check the formal aspect of the document - whether all appendices are there, the pages are properly arranged in order, and the texts are complete. We carry out this type of proofreading on all translations.

Back translation

Back translation is a true delicacy in the world of proofreading. A translator translates a text that has already been translated back into the original language.
